"Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a cornerstone chosen and precious, and

whoever believes in him will not be put to shame."

The Bible is the Cornerstone for our teachings.

Ownership:

We believe that we have been entrusted with all that we have been
given and we should manage it effectively.

"The earth is all the Lord's, and all it contains, the world, and those who dwell"  Psalms 24:1

Savings:

We believe that saving money should be a priority for emergencies,
purchases, and long term goals.

"In the house of the wise are stores of choice food and oil,

but a foolish man devours all he has."  Proverbs 21:20

Contentment:

We believe that God wants us to be content
with what we have and to develop power over the urges to
spend without thought.

"Godliness actually is a means of great gain, when accompanied by contentment."

Timothy 6: 6-10

Be a Debtor NO MORE:

We believe that debt enslaves people to not be free
to be used by God for what he made us to do.

"The rich rule over the poor, just as the borrower is slave to the lender." Proverbs 22:7

 Plan Your Spending Intentionally:

We believe that we should prepare a spending plan for every dollar we are given so that we spend it on paper, and on purpose and intentionally.

"For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it lest, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, saying, this man began to build and was not able to finish."  Luke 14:28-30

Provide the Basics:

We believe that our first priority should be to the provisions of our basic needs.  The four basic areas need to be cared for before we attack debt.  These four basics are FOOD, SHELTER, CLOTHING, AND TRANSPORTATION.

"If anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his immediate family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever."  1 Timothy 5:8

 Give:

We believe the money we have is not ours and the owner has requested that we manage it properly and give to the church and to those in need.

"The earth is the LORD’s and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein."  Psalms 24:1

"Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."   2 Corinthians 9:7
